I created an IFS group page on Facebook you can access it here: IFS Group
The purpose of this book club is:
1. Create a community that supports mental health, motivation, learning and self-reflection.
2. Meet weekly on video chats to discuss chosen books at a slow pace (e.g. ONE CHAPTER a week). Recommended you read the chapter beforehand.
3. You can also recommend/post a link of a book you would like to read with others and start your own weekly meetings. (Feel free to contact me if you have any ideas for books).
4. I suggest we start with IFS therapy, Self-Therapy or similar books because they can teach you new, valuable and evidence-based skills for mental health.What is IFS?
IFS therapy is an evidence-based approach that has been shown to be effective for treating a variety of conditions and their symptoms, such as depression, anxiety, phobias, panic, and physical health conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, as well as improving general functioning and well-being.
